Vintage Spencer Buffalo Microscope w/ Original Wood Case UC Provenance Untested

Vintage Spencer microscope manufactured in Buffalo, New York, featuring brass accents and housed in its original wooden carrying case. This antique scientific instrument was formerly owned by the University of California, as indicated by the inventory markings and label.

Included are the microscope, original wooden case, two objective lenses, three eyepieces, one optical adapter/sleeve, and the original wooden accessory holder. The eyepieces include one Spencer/University of California 10×, one Ernst Leitz Wetzlar 6×, and one Olympus Tokyo P15×. Please review all photos to see exactly what is included.

Condition:

• Untested; sold as found.
• Missing the stage clips and mirror/light assembly.
• Two objective lenses are present.
• Original finish shows expected cosmetic wear, scratches, and paint loss consistent with age and use.
• Wooden case has age-related wear, including a crack on the back panel and damage near one hinge/corner. The case remains functional but is not in perfect condition.
